Hi all.
Been a bad boy and have not updated my Homepage
Playing with Nick Ramshaw in Green Island Bad Nauheim on Saturday 12.3 so come on down and rock the joint with us.
On Sunday I`ll be playing solo in Cena Elements, Brunch with Portugal Theme.The foods great, Waitresse are cute and I`ll be playing from Beatles to Coldplay.Okidoki?
Got a few projects in the pipeline so keep in touch and go to my My Space or Facebook for Information. It`s much easier to edit there than this.

Hi all.
Just a quickie to say that I`ll be playing with multi talented Frank Keller for an evening of music and Storytelling on the 23rd of September at Hofgarten Kabarett in Aschaffenburg.
It`s always fun and we`ll be playing old and new from the rock and pop history.

Hi chaps and chapesses.
Been busy as hell what with the bairn and all, but just time to update Open Gigs (siehe rechts).
Had a great weekend in Munich with Flip and Jurgen, lorra fun,lorra laughs and a handsome purse to boot. Played to the toffs in the VIP area during the Bayer Munich-Dortmund game which isnt to be sneezed at.
Bought myself a new beautiful Lakewood Acoustic. It cost an arm and a leg which makes it difficult to play and stand at the same time, but it does sound much better than my old (one year old) Takamine.
Anyway keep on rockin,

Hi folks.
Just like to let you know that on Tuesday 9th December Oscar Dodsworth arrived squawking and a squealing- rockin and a rolling into the world.
Mother and child are fine, two weeks later and I`m learning to cope with 3 hours a night, but he`s a beautiful boy and gonna be a star.
Wishing everybody a great christmas and special thanks to all the musicians I`ve played with in 2008. It`s been a great honour and I`m looking forward to 2009.

There ya go, to the right lots of gigs where you can see my new guitars and how grey I`m getting.
Into Amos Lee, James Morrison and David Gray at the the mo with a sprinkling Santana.
Got a bairn on the way end of November so I`m looking forward to sleepless nights,pampers and the smell of baby powder again. Let you know when the sprog arrives.

Hi peeps.
Well it`s about time I updated the old Homepage. Nothing new I`m afraid, played some mental gigs with the likes of Ina, Oli and Nick -introducing a few Amy Winehouse songs into the programme which is fun. Got to play with amazing musicians like Alex Rapperport, JD Wood and Joachim Essig -three of the finest Keyboard players i`ve ever seen.
No gigs for the plebs at the moment everything being private gigs but as soon as something turns up, you`ll be the first to know.
Off to dear old blighty soon to be at my sisters wedding so maybe I`ll get around to writing about the visit in my web diary.

Hi peeps.
Boy am I looking forward to Hofgarten-Kabarett s Evening of "Totally British" music in Aschaffenburgs Hofgarten-Kabarett on the 26th of March?. Together with Frank Keller (git.), Paul Kunkel (keyboards) and Oli Pohl (drums), we`ll be flying the flag for music from the Motherland. What is Totally British?. Who knows but it`s gonna be fun.
Just discovered Damian Rice and I`ll be playing some of his stuff which is amazing.
Having probs with the old pc again so it may be some time before I can update folks, so in the words of Take that, have a little patience.

Hi peeps.
A right royal Happy New Year to ya all, hope it`s a good one. It`s been a quiet start into the New Year but I`ve already had some fun gigs playing solo and and duo with me old mates Nick and Udo. Got myself a new Loop station which is gonna be more fun than a barrel full of monkeys and a new acoustic amp that makes my acoustic sound like an acoustic and not like a banjo at last. Played a birthday recently and reduced an old gent in a wheelchair to tears. When I asked whether it was too loud he replied "No it was that the music was so beautiful" which made me think that I`m maybe not doing so bad after all.
Spot the new picture in the the web diary and I`ll dance at your wedding.

Hi folks.
"Well well well!" said the three Oli Sheiks, I`ve have been a bad boy and neglected the Homepage but nevermind here I am again. There`s no news at the mo, other that I`ll be playing with a big name soon (more about that when its happened) and gigs flying in left, right and center. I wouldn`t mind but I`m crap. No though but, everything`s fine, got to a stage where I`m not getting any better so I`m hoping for lessons from someone. Half a hour in the kitchen (cos of smoke ban in da house), with Mr Ramshaw and 2 guitars and I learn so much. Smoking is taking its toll on the old voice too, starting to sound like a goose farting in the fog but there you go
Call in now and again and I`ll update the web diary soon.
