This is a bit of fun web-diary-late at night-ranting kind of thing. Mainly so that I can write in English for "me Mam" and save on postage (only joking)...(or am I?).
I`ve never been able to keep a diary -unlike my mate Nick who could tell who scored for Newcastle United on a windy Saturday afternoon in the dark dank seventies (well i could as well...no one probably ), but I will try to update it even if the only people to read it are my silver haired saint of a mother and someone biding time waiting to get through to the Samaritans.
I`ll be writing about music, gigs, films, art and where to get Ginger snap biscuits in Germany. I`ll be telling stories of my life in rock `n roll, of playing to glue sniffing punks as support band to the UK Subs in the slightly mouldy eighties, of getting thrown out of VIP lounges and Style council video shoots, talking Chinese food with a Sex Pistol and of playing the legendary Marquee club (as soon as I can remember what happened).
So here goes. For me it`s therapy and saves me from psychiatrist couch, for you it should be a bit of fun and not to be taken seriously. If you`ve any thoughts yerself do write in the rather splendid guestbook.

Just got back from rehearsing with Nick and Oli.
I must say it`s absolutley mental to play with two musicians of their class who also happen to be rather good eggs*.
I recorded the rehearsal on a mini disc player, listened to it, and after I`d stopped laughing thought that it had some really good moments. Loved the Sting and Frank Sinatra stuff. Nicks playing shows that he`s and old jazz fan at heart.
Oli lent me 3 dvds of The Who live (without Keith Moon), and so I watched them last night -amazing stuff but I`d have been more impressed with just 1 dvd of the Who live with Keith Moon.

Just had lamb for the first time in 4 or 5 years.Thinking of becoming a vegetarian, but what about the poor vegetables?
